5 Years: James Morgan

Ah yes. The final one.

For the longest time I've had the hardest time drawing his hair. Now I have it down perfectly. His arms, suck though.

Anyway, it's been 5 years since The Black Bullets began. What started as an odd dream has morphed into this.

The Black Bullets are a group of young men who travel the world saving Pokemon for a "small" fee. The stories starts in 2015 and end three/four years later.

James is the leader of the group. He makes the plans (along with CG) and heists. He's also a sort of father figure to the others especally to Seviper and David who had no dad. He's also a part-time Ringer (a game where Pokemon that can fly get a ring and return it to their trainer.)

Backstory (this is going to be a dozy) : James was born into an extremely rich family. He hated the constraints and eventually ran away when he learned he would be wed to a girl he showed interest in for about 3 seconds. He then became a talented young Ringer who showed promise, but found Team Rocket much more promising. He was in Team Rocket throughout most of his life going through two partners (he got the first one pregnant because he thought he had his life together at 20.) Most of his career was stalking a young boy and his Pikachu until he ended up in Unova where he and his partners actually consecrated on taking over the region. Through Looker (and this is where canon stops) Team Rocket learns that a rival gang called Team Plasma is trying to revive the legendary Pokemon Resharim. Looker willingly gives up the location of the black stone which is said to be the other legendary dragon, Zekrom. Using the technology they stole from Team Plasma, create their own Pokemon controlling machine and use it to control Zekrom to go at it with Team Plasma's Resharmin. The two gangs destroyed each other, leaving both leaders dead and a swarm of police led by Looker to clean up the mess. Obviously very hurt and angry, James contacts his family again to help him get out of jail with the catch that he has to marry the girl he showed interest in for 3 seconds. What should of been a life sentence ends up being a year in jail. He marries the girl then gets the fuck as far away from her as possible. He's unable to get a job because of his crimes and ends up being a hobo for a while. One day Looker comes to him with a job proposal. He refuses, and ends up blowing Looker's case by freeing stolen Pokemon. Looker puts James between a rock and a hard place by making him go after another ex-Team Rocket member named Pierce. He unintentually gets involved with a group of boys calling themselves "The Band of Seven" who were involved with the first case. They gave him food, a place to sleep and kindness which had been missing from his life in a long time so he joins them. He becomes the leader of that gang and the group is renamed "The Black Bullets."
