God, it's been a long time since I've used Paint.
I've been wanting to try a new technique that I discovered from Tumblr.
It came out alright, but the colors were so light that I was having a hard time coloring towards the end. So I kinda gave up. I might run over the lineart again with something other than black.

I never would've guessed this was done in paint from the thumbnail; the palettes are so subtle and smooth. I agree with you about changing the lineart to a different color. It would add to the pastel feel.
